Leave Type refers to the types of leaves that an Employee can use while making Leave Applications. An employee can select a particular Leave Type while requesting for leave. You can create any number of Leave Types based as per your company’s requirement.
Holiday List is a list which contains the dates of holidays. Many organizations have a standard Holiday List for their employees. Some even have different holiday lists based on different Locations or Departments. You can configure these holidays as well as weekly offs for your employees seamlessly within one click. You can store a holiday list at the Employee level as well.
Leave Allocation enables you to allocate a specific number of leaves of a particular type to an Employee. Leaves are usually allocated for a particular Leave Period. Once a Leave Period is created and saved, you can click on the Grant button as applicable to each Employee. You can allocate leaves based on Employee Grade, Department or Designation. If carry forward unused leaves from previous allocations to new, enable the option via 1 click configuration.
Employee Attendance Tool allows you to mark the attendance of multiple employees for a particular date. This tool allows you to add attendance records for multiple employees based on their Department and Branch for a given day quickly. Once the attendance is marked using the Employee Attendance Tool, the system creates employee attendance records automatically in the Attendance document.
If your company has a formal system where Employees have to apply for leaves to be able to qualify as paid leaves, you can create Leave Application to track approval and usage of leaves. The applying employee requires to select their Employee record, Leave Type and the period for which the leave is taken. Leave Approvers for each department can be configured in the Department master. There can be single or multiple approvers in one department as per your company needs.
When an employee creates a Leave Application, the leave approves is notified via an email automatically.
You can get a monthly report of your Attendance data by going to the Monthly Attendance Details report. For a quick summary of your employees' leaves based on Leave Type and for a particular period of time, the Employee Leave Balance Summary gives you a brief view of it all. This report comes in handy when you want to analyse employee attendance using filters on employee or a department.
